Progression
The Progression in Multiplayer is a bit different as well – you will notice that Rune packages are priced differently, this ensures a nice and smooth progression through ought the season.

The Game will try to find an opponent that is appropriate to your Power level and ELO Score (a Score that gets increased with each win and decreased with each loss).

The Core game

The game as you know has changed (a bit) – you will notice the enemies heroes roaming around on their own side of the map.
Both players receive the same enemies at the same time.
If you manage to beat your wave faster than the enemy, you get to send the enemy a Punishment, making his life a hell of a lot worse.

Punishments
There are three main types of punishments:
• Changing Wave type – Change the type of the wave into a Mass or Champion Wave.
• Change Creep type – Change the type of the wave into an enemy usually not present on the map – ideal to catch someone off guard!
• Add Abilities – Adds an ability to the wave.

Every time you are allowed to punish the enemy, one of each of these categories will be randomly rolled.

How to win?
To win, you have to defeat the last wave before the enemy does or survive longer.

End of the Match
At the end of each match, you will see some detailed statistic on what happened in the match. Additionally, you will receive a Rune a reward.

Maps
In the Closed Beta, there are three Maps – for each match, the map will get chosen randomly.

The Rift

The Rift of souls has opened, fight against the undead that have been summoned.

The easiest Map – both players can focus on their own path and there I only one position where kills (and orb energy) from the other player could be stolen.

Swamptown
Fight your enemy in these forgotten ruins of a once thriving town in the Swamp of the Dead.

On this map, there I much more opportunity to directly mess with your enemy – you can run over there and kill the creeps from under his nose!

Infinite Cemetery

The dead never rest and the cemetery never ends.

The most complex of the current Multiplayer maps – try to figure out the pattern behind the ever switching paths through the cemetery!

We are looking forward to destroying you on the Battlefield!
